Mindfulness Club Weekly Recap: Kick Ball and Step Practice

This Monday at Mindfulness Club, we explored mindfulness through movement with two very different but engaging activities, kick ball and step practice.
We began with a high-energy game of kick ball. It was a great way to stay active while being present in the moment. Whether kicking, running, or cheering on teammates, everyone stayed focused and connected to the experience. The game reminded us that mindfulness isn’t only about stillness, it can be found in action, too.
Afterward, we jumped into step practice. Unlike traditional calming exercises, step practice challenged us to stay aware while moving quickly and intentionally. It pushed us to focus on coordination, timing, and group rhythm, all while maintaining awareness of our body and breath. It wasn’t easy, but it helped strengthen our ability to stay mindful under pressure.
