Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services seeks professionals dedicated to helping children recover from severe emotional trauma, mental illness, and addiction. Our team, including psychiatrists, physicians, case workers, nurses, residential counselors, and teachers, works to ensure children heal emotionally, improve behavior, achieve academically, and return to their communities with the tools to manage their mental health. OPEN POSITIONS

Therapist/Case Manager

Psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescent girls and boys located 15 minutes north of Emporia, Virginia seeks licensed/licensed eligible clinician (LCSW or LPC) to provide therapy and case management services on an inpatient basis.  Population served includes adolescent girls and boys with complex developmental trauma, co-occurring mental illness, and substance abuse issues.  Position provides individual, group, and family therapy within a psychiatric residential setting.  Virginia license, two years’ formal experience counseling adolescents, and residential experience are preferred.

Residential Counselors

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment Facility located in Jarratt, Virginia, seeks positive role models to work directly with children and young adults ages 11 to 21. The Residential Counselor is responsible for role-modeling healthy behavior and teaching life skills while implementing trauma-informed treatment practices. This is a full-time position.

Qualified applicants must possess the availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility is a must. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or other Human Services field is preferred, a High School Diploma/GED is required. Starting pay ranges from $15.00/hr. to $17.00/hr. depending upon experience and credentials. $1.00/hr. Shift Differential is paid for week-day evening shift. $1.50/hr. Shift Differential is paid for first and second shifts on Saturday and Sunday. JFBHS also pays time and a half overtime for any hours worked over forty in a workweek.

A $1,000.00 Retention Bonus is paid after 12 months of full-time employment.

Compensation package includes 401(k) retirement plan & employer sponsored health, dental, vision & life insurance. JFBHS’ pays employees $415.00/month towards their Health, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance. JFBHS’ also provides a Matching Contribution to employees’ 401(k) Retirement Plan Accounts.
