Black History Month 2024

In February, for Black History Month, students at JFBHS celebrated by creating posters about influential Black figures, highlighting their achievements and impact on history. The kids enjoyed walking around, presenting their work, and learning from each other, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of Black history.

Science Fair 2024

Screenshot In April, we held our annual science fair, where students showcased their creativity and scientific skills through hands-on projects and experiments. The event encourages curiosity, learning, and a sense of accomplishment, as each participant presented their work to staff and peers.

Graduation 2024

In May, we celebrated the achievements of one high school graduate and four eighth graders moving up to ninth grade. We had food, desert, and music to celebrate their hard work and resilience, marking an important milestone in their academic and personal growth.

Fairy Godmother Program 2024

The Fairy Godmother Program at JFBHS was a heartwarming success, with students from Collegiate High School organizing a drive to collect prom attire for our children. After gathering the prom necessities, they visited campus to help the kids select the perfect outfits, ensuring they felt confident and special for their prom night.

Class or Treat 2024

JFBHS celebrated Halloween with a fun "Class and Treat" event, where kids went from classroom to classroom, trick-or-treating for candy and treats. This festive tradition brought excitement and joy, allowing students to enjoy the holiday in a safe and supportive environment.
