This week at Jackson-Feild, we are celebrating Black History Month with a series of engaging activities for our students. Monday, children get a chance to make an announcement discussing Black History Month. On Tuesday, we kick off with Unity Day, where students and staff are encouraged to wear red, yellow, and green in honor of Black heritage and unity. Wednesday brings a sweet surprise with Treat Day, followed by a Library Day, offering students the opportunity to explore and check out books. To wrap up the week, Friday will be filled with creativity and celebration as students participate in a Valentine’s Day activity and design their own Black History Month shirts, expressing their appreciation for Black culture and history.
