Human Resources Assistant/Office Manager

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment center for youth, seeks a HR Assistant/Office Manager. The HR Assistant/Office Manager provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources, manages an eight line telephone switchboard, and processes all in-coming and out-going mail. The HR Assistant/Office Manager administers COBRA and FMLA benefits. This position manages the HRIS inclusive of all personnel databases and spreadsheets and generates reports from the HRIS as required by the HR Director. This position also conducts criminal background screenings and assists with the onboarding of new hires. The position ensures that all personnel files are in compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies. The HR Assistant/Office Manager also serves as the receptionist for the organization which includes answering and directing calls, greeting and assisting visitors, and maintaining the first floor of the administration building in a clean orderly fashion including preparing refreshments for visitors and clients. A significant amount of time will be spent manually filing information in personnel files and entering data into the HRIS. Accuracy and maintaining confidentiality is of the utmost importance.

A high school diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Two years’ experience as an administrative assistant preferred. The completion of formal college coursework in Microsoft Office software applications is preferred. Qualified candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and HR database applications including the ability to create custom reports, graphs, PowerPoint presentations and export data into excel for manipulation.

Clinical Services Manager

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescent girls and boys located 15 minutes north of Emporia, Virginia seeks a Virginia licensed LCSW or LPC to provide oversight and clinical supervision for all Therapists/Case Managers. The Clinical Services Manager ensures the clinical team provides appropriate evidence-based trauma-informed treatment and measures the effectiveness of the treatment provided. The Clinical Services Manager works collaboratively with localities, referring agencies, social workers, and legal guardians to ensure treatment outcomes meet stakeholder expectations. The Clinical Services Manager ensures that all clinical services are provided in compliance with best practice, applicable laws, regulations, JFBHS’s policies and procedures, Medicaid requirements, The Council on Accreditation, and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services regulations. Population served includes adolescent girls and boys with complex developmental trauma, co-occurring mental illness, and substance abuse issues.

Two years’ experience supervising clinical personnel in a residential setting preferred. Must have the ability to obtain a Medicaid provider number.

Residential Services Supervisor

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a Psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescents located in Jarratt, Virginia, seeks an individual to manage the day-to-day operations of a 10 to14 bed residential unit.  The Residential Services Supervisor (RSS) is responsible for the implementation of the Trauma Informed Treatment program and monitoring the effectiveness of services.  The RSS is responsible for ensuring the safety of all program participants and prioritizing multiple tasks to ensure the effectiveness of all program components.  The RSS works with various resources within the facility and the local community to ensure that all program participants receive appropriate wrap around services.  The RSS recruits, teaches, coaches, evaluates, and empowers unit staff and is responsible for developing staff schedules and maintaining coverage within established staff/resident ratios.  The RSS is responsible for operating the unit within established budgetary, licensing, and Council on Accreditation guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

 

A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Human Services related field is preferred.  A Bachelor’s Degree is required.  Two years’ experience working with adolescents in a human services related field is required. Two years’ experience working in a residential treatment facility for adolescents is preferred.

Secondary Math Teacher

If you are interested in making a positive impact on the lives of Virginia’s youth, then we want you to become part of our Team!  Private rural residential special education facility for teen girls and boys seeks a full-time secondary Math Teacher to teach Algebra I and II.  Math degree and experience teaching Algebra I and II preferred.  Will give serious consideration to candidates with a degree in a subject other than Math if the applicant possesses a Math endorsement from the Virginia Department of Education.  Qualified candidates should possess a current Virginia Teacher’s License with math endorsement.  Qualified candidates must possess the analytical and observational skills to make decisions which safeguard the health, safety, and educational plans of students in care.

Psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescent girls and boys located 15 minutes north of Emporia, Virginia seeks licensed/licensed eligible clinician (LCSW or LPC) to provide therapy and case management services on an inpatient basis.  Population served includes adolescent girls and boys with complex developmental trauma, co-occurring mental illness, and substance abuse issues.  Position provides individual, group, and family therapy within a psychiatric residential setting.  Virginia license, two years’ formal experience counseling adolescents, and residential experience are preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse

Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility for youth located ten minutes north of Emporia, Virginia seeks Virginia licensed LPN. Full-time position. Twelve hour evening/overnight shift (8PM to 8AM).

Starting Pay $23.00/hr. to $28.00/ hr. depending upon experience. Compensation package includes employer matching 401(k) retirement plan & employer sponsored health, dental, vision & life insurance. Residential Counselors (Youth Service Workers)

Residential Treatment Facility located in Jarratt, Virginia seeks positive role models to work directly with adolescent boys and girls in a residential treatment program. The Residential Counselor is responsible for role-modeling healthy behavior and teaching life skills while implementing trauma-informed treatment practices. This is a full-time position.

Must possess the availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility is a must. Seeking candidates with experience working with youth in a formal therapeutic setting. A Bachelors’ degree is preferred but not required. Starting pay ranges from $13.50 to $15.00/hr. depending upon experience and credentials. Shift differential is provided for week-day evening shift and for first and second shifts on the weekend.
