Each member of our team works to ensure the children served by Jackson-Feild heal emotionally, make significant progress improving their behaviors, meet their best potential academically and are able to return to their family or community with the tools to manage their mental health illnesses and trauma.

Maintenance Worker

Residential treatment facility is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker. Job duties include basic building and vehicle maintenance, performing equipment and building safety inspections, painting, plumbing, basic carpentry, electrical, & HVAC repair and installation.

Formal experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC is required. Tradesman certification in one of the above listed trades is preferred.

Custodian

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services seeks an energetic, self-motivated individual with an attention to detail to fill the full-time position of Custodian. The Custodian cleans and maintains all residential units, school buildings, offices and recreational facilities. The custodian cleans all bathroom facilities and ensures that they are properly furnished with appropriate hygiene items. The custodian sweeps, vacuums, dusts, mops, cleans, and buffs all areas as applicable.

Custodial experience in a formal business setting is preferred.

Clinical Services Manager

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescent girls and boys located 15 minutes north of Emporia, Virginia seeks a Virginia licensed LCSW or LPC to provide oversight and clinical supervision for all Therapists/Case Managers. The Clinical Services Manager ensures the clinical team provides appropriate evidence-based trauma-informed treatment and measures the effectiveness of the treatment provided. The Clinical Services Manager works collaboratively with localities, referring agencies, social workers, and legal guardians to ensure treatment outcomes meet stakeholder expectations. The Clinical Services Manager ensures that all clinical services are provided in compliance with best practice, applicable laws, regulations, JFBHS’s policies and procedures, Medicaid requirements, The Council on Accreditation, and The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services regulations. Population served includes adolescent girls and boys with complex developmental trauma, co-occurring mental illness, and substance abuse issues.

Two years’ experience supervising clinical personnel in a residential setting preferred. Must have the ability to obtain a Medicaid provider number.

Secondary Math Teacher

Residential Counselors

Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services, a trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment Facility located in Jarratt, Virginia, seeks positive role models to work directly with children and young adults ages 11 to 21. The Residential Counselor is responsible for role-modeling healthy behavior and teaching life skills while implementing trauma-informed treatment practices. This is a full-time position.

Qualified applicants must possess the availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility is a must. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or other Human Services field is preferred, a High School Diploma/GED is required. Starting pay ranges from $15.00/hr. to $17.00/hr. depending upon experience and credentials. $1.00/hr. Shift Differential is paid for week-day evening shift. $1.50/hr. Shift Differential is paid for first and second shifts on Saturday and Sunday. JFBHS also pays time and a half overtime for any hours worked over forty in a workweek.

A $1,000.00 Retention Bonus is paid after 12 months of full-time employment.
